Lucas Calabrese is one of the most recognized skippers in South America. He is an Olympic sailor, who won a bronze medal in the 470 class in 2012. He has been ranked top five in the past 2 years and is aiming to win another medal in 2016 with his partner, Juan de la Fuente.Other highlights in his career are: Optimist World Champion, Bronze Medal at the 420 ISAF Youth Worlds as well as several South American and National championships.

Juan is a veteran Olympic campaigner, winning a Bronze Medal in the Sydney 2000 and London 2012 Games, in the 470 Class with different skippers: Javier Conte & Lucas Calabrese. Apart from those epic achievements he is also a 7 times National Champion, 2 times South American Champion, and European Champion, with more than 20 podiums including victories at the European Circuit Regattas.

Next in Juan's sailing career? He is aiming for gold at Rio 2016 partnering with Lucas Calabrese in the 470 where he feels almost local. 

He is dedicated to 470 but also keen on other one design classes such as, Melges 20, Melges 32, Gp 42, Tp52 and 15mts Classic yachts.
