Singapore Youth Sailors have made history over the weekend by winning Gold for the first time in an Olympic Event. 15 year olds Bernie Chin & Samantha Yom both brought home Gold Medals in the Byte CII class of the Youth Olympic Games that took place in Nanjing. We are beyond proud to be supporting such amazing talents and give a hearty congratulations to them both and the Singapore Sailing team.

Mark Chay, Chef-de-Mission for the Singapore team had the following to say about the victory and we couldn’t agree more:
"It speaks volumes about how Singapore Sailing has been developing its youth athletes. Our sailors have the potential to actually excel at this level. We are all very proud of them. It's not only the final result, but how they competed and how they actually fought for the gold medal."
