Marina Alabau and Julien Bontemps join Zhik Team
Zhik is very proud to announce that the current ISAF ranked World Number 1 for both RSX men and women have joined the Zhik Team. Marina Alabau from Spain, and Julien Bontemps from France.
Robert Nagy, European sales manager for Zhik explains, "Having recently joined Zhik myself, it was immediately obvious to me that the gear is perfect for RSX sailing. It was just a matter of introduction to impress the worlds best, and get them into the gear".
Together with this announcement, Zhik has committed to RSX specific gear development towards London 2012. "We plan to work very closely with our RSX team, and give them the attention they need in order to bring gear changes that provide a competitive advantage. We want our team to medal in London", said Bart Milczarczyk, design manager for Zhik.
Rumours are that Zhik is already working on a novel new harness for the class. Marina and Julien join the team at the best possible time to help accelerate these developments.
