The Sibello brothers (ITA) dominate the Olympic regatta to win in the 49er with ease.
In the largest fleet, the laser class, Javier Hernandez (ESP) takes gold, with Adonis (GRE) in silver and Alsogaray (ARG) in bronze. "We are very impressed with the performance of our laser team", said Patrick Langley, sales manager for Zhik,"Javier is coming into brilliant form winning a number of regattas. We are also glad to see some new young talent close to the podium, with Tom Burton putting a push on the Australian fleet".
Other medals for Zhik at the Fraglia Vela Riva event include George Szabo / Mark Strube in the Star taking Silver, are Giulia Conti / Giovanna Micol placing 3rd in the Womens 470, and Gintare Scheidt taking 3rd in the Laser Radial.
